He is very active in many associations both locally and internationally. Presently he is the President of Persatuan Perkhidmatan Kawalan Keselamatan Malaysia (PPKKM). He is very determined to enhance the status of the security industry to the level where it can respect by the public, the business world and members of the industry. On many occasions, he has embarked on a solo crusade, sacrificing his time, energy and money to attain this objective.

He is also one of the founder members and currently President of Asian Professional Security Association Malaysia. He established this association almost single-handedly. A number of significant seminars and tea-talks were organized by the association for the benefits of APSA members in the country and the region as well as for other security professionals in Malaysia.

He is the first man to publish a comprehensive guide manual for security guards entitled Panduan Buku Kawalan Keselamatan. He is also the only personality in the country to publish a security journal entitled Malaysian safety and security journal, which are published quarterly.

He is currently involved in a number other security associations and holding important posts such as:

	The President of Malaysian Industrial -Security Association (MISA).
	Vice Chairman of Indian International Institute of Safety and Security Management (IISSM)
	A member of American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).
	A member of World Association of Detectives

He is also active in other associations in Malaysia namely:

	Deputy President Persatuan Usahawan dan Eksekutif Bumiputera Malaysia (PESUMA).
	Vice President Persatuan Pelancongan Selangor.
	EXCO Persatuan Bekas Tentera Malaysia.
	Member of Selangor Shooting Club.
